Within the realm, Baobhan sith are commonly referred to as Droch-fae, a name that echoes their notorious origins from the cursed city of Dún Scáith. Despite their separation from other races and the unique character they possess, Baobhan sith are fundamentally a sub-group within the broader Fairy bloodline. Their methods are considered dishonourable and cunning, utilising every possible trick to gain the upper hand in any dispute.

Visually, Baobhan sith lack the enchanting butterfly-like wings that are a hallmark of Fairy beauty. Instead, their wings resemble those of insects, possessing a more sinister and unnatural appearance. This difference in wing structure serves as a physical manifestation of their divergence from Fairy kind. Nonetheless, Baobhan sith retain certain similarities, such as intricate markings adorning their bodies. Unlike Fairies, whose markings are varied and often ethereal, Baobhan sith bear distinctive markings beneath their eyes and unique patterns on their fingers, enhancing their unsettling visage.
