Within the higher realms (Demon, Celestial, and Fairy realm) is a system in which dictates your strength and power within said realm. Each one having a slightly different scaling system, but the result will always be the same in context to the other realms.
The standard scaling is set as follows, from weakest to strongest. E, D, C, B, A, S.
Usually, you would be ranked at either birth or upon reaching the age of 18, depending on whether you were born poor or born within nobility, if you were born in nobility then you would more than likely be assessed then ranked at birth.
The difference in strength and power is not as noticeable at the lower ranks, but the further it goes, the bigger the difference becomes.
Special Ranks,
Demon Lord: Seen as the purest form of nobility and strength within the Demon realm, those that somehow get ranked as Demon Lord, will be held in high esteem within the realm.,
Primordial: The upper most pinnacle in the Demon realm and the highest rank within the realm. Those that are ranked as Primordial are effectively seen as the closest thing to gods, as their strength and power reflects their rank.,
Archangel: The second highest rank in the Celestial realm. Anyone ranked as such are always seen as forerunners of the God of Judgement.,
Demi-God: Much like the Primordial rank for the Demon realm, Demi-God is the pinnacle of the Celestial realm, and is seen in the same light as the Primordial rank within their realm.,
Greater Fae: The Fairy realm’s highest rank and is rarely attained, resulting in it being considered a myth by most.,
Calamity: An unattainable rank by normal or conventional means, this rank is only ever attained by those the God of Destruction considers a fitting inheritor of the rank. Another requirement for the rank to be gained is to either be an Arbiter of Ruin and be strong enough to be considered a natural calamity or be a Harbinger.,
Null: Unlike other ranks, this one is that of punishment. Given exclusively to Remnant’s who abandon all that they were and once were. Those who fell into the all-consuming abyss of one’s mind, never to see light or peace of mind again.
