Primal Lord

Info and World Type

Core

In the Dimensional Rift, there are those who are effectively originators of the race they imbody, as such they are the first of their kind. To be a Primal Lord is to literally be the first of your kind with no exceptions, along with holding a position of authority over others whose origin can be traced back to you.

Because of how important and powerful, Primal Lords are in a sense, it results in only one of each kind to ever exist, so if one dies, by consequence it results in any to be born as the race they imbody and rule over to be unable to trace back their origin their Primal Lord, effectively preventing them from progressing and evolving and halting them from getting stronger, as their own origin gets cut off when the Primal Lord dies.

Put simply, If a Primal Lord dies for a given race then NO new Primal Lord will take their place, and the origin point of that given race will end, and their development and power will be left in stagnation.

(Please Note: If a Primal Lord dies for any given race, then it does not mean that the race in question can no longer exist, it simply means they cannot get stronger or develop new skills as time goes on and such)

Below is a list of all known Primal Lords for each Race.

List of all Unknown Primal Lords for each race.

  • Sylph: Unknown

  • Valkyrie: Unknown

  • Vampire: Unknown

  • Oni: Unknown member of the Flame Eaters Tribe

Unlike with every other race, there are two unique races that are the exception to the rule. As a result, they do not possess or have a Primal Lord where their origin can be linked to in the same manner as the others. Instead, their origin is the result of the Gods, in creation by form of a punishment.

Below are the two unique races that do not follow the Primal Lord rule, along with the Punishment that the Gods placed upon the race for its creation.

  • Remnant: A punishment to those who lose themselves in the abyss of one's mind in the face of absolute despair and willingly throw away their name, identity, memories, and even death itself, along with all that they once were and walk the land ever more as an echo of the past. - God of Destruction and God of Dusk and Death

  • Sluagh (pronounced as: slew-ah): A punishment to Faeries who cling onto regret, anger, hate, and vengeance when their time has come to pass onto the Realm of Eternal End, instead of leaving the world in peace and contentment with the life they had. - God of Destruction and the Goddess of the Underworld

Elementals also share the same exclusion to the Primal Lord rule, as they are more closely related to spirits and physical aspects of their respected elements, and are more creature than living soul, as such they cannot have or possess a Primal Lord.

Kinless Primal Lords

Not all Primal Lords stand at the head of a great bloodline. There are two known races in the Dimensional Rift that exist as singular beings, each bound to an origin that begins and ends with itself. They are the first of their kind, yet also the last; true Primal Lords by definition, but only by a lonely technicality, for no second soul of their race has ever drawn breath.

Their condition is both burden and blessing. They cannot create others like themselves, and so they are denied the legacy that defines every other Primal Lord. Yet that same isolation grants them a strange and singular power: though they cannot continue their own kind, they may still give rise to other races and wield gifts no ordinary lineage could ever possess. In this way, they stand apart from the natural order—solitary, exceptional, and powerful in ways that make them feared, pitied, and revered in equal measure.

Because each stands forever without kin, these singular beings are known by a fitting title: Kinless Primal Lords.

Below are the two known Kinless Primal Lords and the races that begin and end with them.

  • Dullahan: Zoey Dunn

  • Banshee: April Cunningham
